Guayaquil, June 12th. Vicente Wong Naranjo received from EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) the Outstanding Leadership Award in recognition of his exceptional Leadership in Stakeholder Engagement.
Vicente Wong Naranjo is the CEO of Favorita Fruit Company and Executive Vice President for Reybanpac. With over 40 years of experience in agribusiness, his leadership with a strategic and sustainable approach have been essential for the expansion of the banana business, currently reaching 30 destinations on 5 continents.
The EFQM Awards are developed with the objective of recognizing outstanding leaders and organizations from the private, public or non-profit sector that “demonstrate an indisputable record of success in turning strategy into action and continuously improving their performance.”
The methodology to determine the results of the perceived reputation in leadership is based on the seven dimensions of the EFQM Excellence Model: stakeholder engagement; creation of sustainable value; organizational culture of excellence; lead the operation and transformation; operational and strategic performance; vision and corporate strategy. The study is carried out through a survey designed to measure the perception of 500 professionals per country.
