REYBANPAC REITERATES ITS COMMITMENT TO BEST SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES

In recent days Reybanpac received from the Ecuadorian Agency for Quality Assurance of Agro - Agrocalidad, the renewal of its certification of general compliance with good agricultural practices.

The regulatory body confirmed that the 45 farms belonging to Reybanpac, producer of the Favorita banana brand, maintain full compliance with the norms and procedures aimed at the health of consumers, the protection of the ecosystem, as well as the improvement of conditions of workers and their families.

As part of the process to obtain the Certificate of Good Agricultural Practices – BPA (for its initials in Spanish), Agrocalidad evaluates the safety of the fruit, the adherence to labor safety regulations and the productive process in terms of responsible management of natural resources and environmental care.
