On September 3, Reybanpac presented the new image of the "Reybanpac Center of Excellence", also called CER by its acronym in Spanish. The event marked the beginning of the celebrations for the 45 years of institutional life of Reybanpac and featured with the assistance of company personnel and students from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the State Technical University of Quevedo.

Reybanpac Center of Excellence has the purpose of imparting knowledge and developing skills focused on banana production, aimed at both internal and external personnel. Its theoretical-practical methodology offers its students the opportunity to grow professionally under the mentorship of company instructors.

At the ceremony, Vicente Andrés Wong, General Manager, remarked that the company believes in the ability of its team to continue promoting its talent in order to face the new challenges of the banana sector. “Our mission to healthily nourish the world drives us to achieve greater goals. To do things better and better, to be innovative and set an example of sustainable agriculture. For this we must continue to grow and develop.”

Likewise, he pointed out to the UTEQ students that the company's doors are open to anyone who wants to contribute effort and commitment to agribusiness and invited them to see Reybanpac as an opportunity to build their professional careers.

CER has training programs for the administrative area focused on preparing Farm Administrators, Sector Managers, Process Supervisors and Administrative Assistants. Likewise, it has 7 training programs for functions in the field and packing areas.

Fanny Mendoza, Human Resources Manager highlighted that Reybanpac obtained in August the qualification as Training Operator, for the processes of Administrators, Sector Managers and Process Supervisors, with the endorsement of the Ecuadorian Ministry of Labor.

CER represents an important contribution to improving Reybanpac's competitiveness and productivity by promoting excellence and development. 66% of the company's administrative team is made up of people who graduated from the Reybanpac Center of Excellence, which began its training programs in 2014.

60% of the 2022 graduates have been selected to fill internal positions (figure at the end of August).

To close the event, the attendees participated in an enlightening conference given by Natalia Lindao, a specialized trainer in the field of human talent development. The expert addressed the keys to achieving excellence for professional development and motivated those to move with tenacity and responsibility towards personal and organizational progress.
