Reybanpac Empowers Adolescent Girls Through Educational Scholarships

2025-10-28

At Reybanpac, we seek to help vulnerable teenage girls remain in the formal education system. In addition, one of the mentees from the Women Empowering Women program visited our offices in Quevedo and spent a day experiencing what it means to be an executive at our organization.

Reybanpac continues to cultivate well-being through the promotion of gender equality. As part of the “Women Empowering Women” program alliance, and to mark International Day of the Girl Child, we awarded twenty educational scholarships to support teenage girls in vulnerable situations in continuing their formal education. The beneficiaries are part of the programs led by the NGO Plan International.

As part of this initiative, Ninibeth, one of the mentees in the Women Empowering Women Mentoring Program —carried out in collaboration with the Wong Foundation and Plan International —visited Reybanpac's offices in Quevedo and experienced what it means to be an executive at the organization for a day.

She had the opportunity to learn from women leaders who head various departments across the company, take part in a working session with the Human Resources team, and co-create ideas for improvement.

This empowerment initiative promoted by Plan International seeks to advance gender equality by offering adolescent girls a motivational experience that encourages them to explore their potential and envision their professional futures.

These joint efforts reaffirm our commitment to contributing to SDG 5: Gender Equality, by promoting the education and leadership of women as key pillars for social progress and the sustainable development of communities.
