2025 Agricultural Olympics, a recognition for our team's excellence

The final of the 2025 Agricultural Olympics took place on August 27. Forty-eight finalists, who had previously passed the qualifying rounds held at different Reybanpac farms, competed in sheathing, propping, defoliation, selection, sorting, weighing, labeling, and packaging. At the end of the day, prizes were awarded to the top three finishers in each category.

This competition, now in its 12th year, aims to promote excellence among field and packaging personnel, as well as to recognize the talent and effort of the company's employees.

José Antonio Vargas, Reybanpac’s general manager, highlighted the competitors' efforts: “The international recognition of the Favorita brand is a testament to the dedication of each one of you. The consistency in quality and effort allow us to grow as a company and provide more job opportunities for our people in the community. That should be the driving purpose behind our efforts each day.”

Luis Humberto Piza, an agricultural worker, won first place in the packaging category. “Every day I prepare myself to do a good job and produce a good product for export. We work every day to always give our best and continue moving forward with Reybanpac,” he said after his victory.

For his part, Carlos Tixe took first place in the sorting category. “This is the first time I've won this medal. To be honest, I was a little nervous at the beginning of the competition, but the key is to work hard to succeed,” he said.

REYBANPAC congratulates all the competitors for their efforts. As a company, we will continue to promote excellence and teamwork, which allows us to continue offering high quality in every piece of fruit we export.
