The MERCO report, the benchmark corporate monitor for Ibero-America, has placed Reybanpac among the Ecuadorian companies with the best corporate reputation in 2024 and as one of the organizations that climbed the most positions with respect to 2023. Vicente Wong Naranjo also stood out among the top 30 leaders with the best reputation in the country, according to the ranking of Business Leaders, prepared by MERCO.

These results reflect Reybanpac's permanent search for excellence and responsibility in its operations, values that have allowed us to contribute to the construction of a sustainable agribusiness with a positive impact.

Founded by Segundo Wong Mayorga 47 years ago, Reybanpac has positioned itself as the largest producer and second largest exporter of bananas in the country: its fruit reaches more than 30 destinations worldwide. With more than 6,000 employees, we are one of the companies that generates the most employment in the country, with a strong impact on rural Ecuador: 85% of our team is made up of agricultural personnel.

At Reybanpac, we have been pioneers in the sector in the implementation of good environmental practices that include the efficient management of natural resources, the preservation of biodiversity, waste reduction, and the adoption of precision agriculture techniques, among others. As a result, we comply with the most demanding international certification programs.

Regarding social responsibility, through the Wong Foundation, we have provided free, quality education in communities near our company's operations, reaching more than 40,000 beneficiaries since 1993. The Foundation currently has three educational units, four child development centers and technical training programs to contribute to the development and well-being of rural areas of the country.

Throughout the years, the vision and values of our founder have been the pillars that have forged the growth of our organization. Today, under the leadership of the second generation, Reybanpac continues to strengthen its legacy focused on development, sustainability and community well-being.
