The National Assembly of Ecuador awarded Vicente Wong Naranjo, CEO of Reybanpac, with the business merit medal.
During the solemn plenary session of the National Assembly of Ecuador held on October 9 on the commemoration of the CCII Anniversary of the Independence of the city of Guayaquil, the president of the National Assembly, Dr. Virgilio Saquicela Espinoza, presented Vicente Wong a medal for his entrepreneurial work.
Vicente Wong Naranjo is an economist and Executive President of the conglomerate of companies made up of Reybanpac, Reylácteos, Fertisa, Expoplast, among others. As a group, they constitute one of the largest private employers in the country, generating around 8,500 jobs, with a significant influence in rural areas of Ecuador.
Vicente Wong has a forty-decade history in agribusiness. He has actively participated in boards of associations and chambers of commerce. He was president of the board of directors of the Corporation for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (CORPEI) and of the Ecuadorian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. He held the position of president of the Board of Directors of the Ecuadorian-Russian Chamber of Commerce. And currently he is a member of the board of the Association of Banana Exporters of Ecuador and vice president of the Ecuadorian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
