Message from the Wong Foundation.
We are currently in a permanent process to promote an education that meets the needs of children and adolescents in rural areas, tending to improve their quality of life with a horizon full of hope, promoting human values so that peaceful coexistence is strengthened in the community. We keep a deep look to reflect together with the educational communities on the challenges that together we must take on in search of better days.
In times of the Covid-19 pandemic, we remain firm in our commitment to generate educational alternatives that allow us to articulate the process of pedagogical support and emotional containment of our students, attending to their concerns and establishing the necessary links to address each of their educational and affective needs guaranteeing a highly inclusive education.
The educational task in rural areas generates many challenges to carry out an adequate intervention in these difficult circumstances, however, the committed and timely effort of the teaching team guarantees the educational processes of children and adolescents, thus avoiding school dropouts.
Since 2005 we have strengthened secondary education through the SAT educational model -Tutorial Learning System-, which has become an educational tool that guarantees equitable education between men and women in rural areas. It gives them the opportunity to grow as human beings with the ability to understand their rural environment in order to seek to transform it with the involvement of the community. Service to their community constitutes the main axis of the methodology.
As a tool for a true social transformation, we are motivated to continue building together this academic process that we are sure will converge in the full realization of the life project of all our students. Now, we invite everyone to continue dreaming responsibly and from society, business and family to persist in generating opportunities for change in rural communities.
TESTIMONIES:
“Rural communities have received an excellent benefit through the educational model promoted by the Wong Foundation, it undoubtedly constitutes an opportunity for men and women from an early age to receive quality education without leaving their communities. In this context, the SAT Tutorial Learning System gives them opportunities to develop their skills and abilities that allow them to make better life decisions with deep responsibility. "

“Being part of a unique teaching methodology in the country is rewarding and at the same time a great responsibility. The SAT, without a doubt, is the best way to promote the development of our communities. Our students leave prepared to work both with companies and independently. "
