AGRICULTURAL TRAINING SCHOOLS: EMPOWERMENT AND DEVELOPMENT.

2020-06-30

Reybanpac maintains its Agricultural Training Schools, a permanent activity of the company that seeks continuous improvement in its processes and enhancement of the skills of its workers. Offering customers a product and service with consistently high quality standards is of great importance to the company; in this sense, the training program is an effective resource to inspire workers towards excellence. In order to attain this improvement, the methodology of the courses contemplates theoretical training, but focuses mainly on practice.

Reybanpac believes in the capabilities of his human talent and considers it essential to invest in their development, which is why it is concerned with offering them the necessary tools to take on new challenges. Marcelo Andrade, who is trained as a sanitizer, points out that “you can improve yourself and reach a better future according to the goal that you set for yourself, because you are learning at the same time that you are being paid, so you work with more enthusiasm because you have the option of bettering yourself for your own good." For his part, Tito Romero, beginning his training to become Sector Chief, says "this is a great opportunity, I am happy to continue to strive to be a professional through daily efforts. Reybanpac supports us by teaching us step by step everything done in the company, and I am happy because I keep learning and I want to learn much more.”

The training involves both company personnel, who seek to grow within the organization, as well as people who see in Reybanpac a school for the banana industry and an attractive job opportunity. Marcos Morales, who has previously worked in other companies in the area, tells us that he had positive references from his colleagues about the company, which motivated him to participate in the program: “the school I am going to attend for Sector Chiefs is a very good school where they will teach me both theory and practice, for my professional development in this field.” Jayro Lizano, who was trained in packaging, recognizes that the School has allowed him to evolve to a tasks that interest him that also improves his income, "this has helped me feel empowered to do a more complex job than I did before."

Reybanpac will continue to open new courses throughout the year focused on training Chiefs, Administrators, Process Supervisors, as well as perfecting the technique of Sheaths, Selectors, Pre-calibrators, Strappers, Sanitizers and Packers. In the framework of the pandemic, as is done in the daily operations of the company, Reybanpac applies strict biosecurity measures to protect people's health and ensure the proper conduct of training.
