2026 Agricultural Olympics: When Talent Is Recognized, the Commitment to Excellence Grows Stronger

2026-09-29

Reybanpac hosted a new edition of the Agricultural Olympics. This competition, now in its 13th year, aims to promote excellence among the field and packing staff at our banana facility, as well as to recognize their talent and hard work.

During the finals, held on September 10, 48 finalists competed in the tasks of sheathing, propping, defoliation, selection, sorting, weighing, labeling, and packaging, after advancing through the qualifying rounds held at the company’s various plantations.

Following a rigorous evaluation conducted by the Quality Department, the top three finishers in each category were awarded prizes at the end of the day.

“I want to congratulate everyone who has come to compete today. The fact that you are here means you are among the best. I’m also happy to see several participants from last year again, because your presence reflects the perseverance and ongoing commitment to excellence that characterizes our people and Reybanpac,” said Óscar Dueñas, Quality Manager.

The Agricultural Olympics are also an expression of our culture of recognition: a culture that values the people who, through their talent, discipline, and commitment, raise our standards every day. Recognizing excellence not only celebrates an achievement but also reinforces the behaviors we want to foster throughout the organization and drives us to continue growing together.

Behind that commitment lies a purpose that unites us: to serve our customers better and better. Our customer focus begins in the field and is present at every stage of our work. That is why the excellence with which our people perform every task directly translates into the quality of the fruit we deliver and the trust we build with our customers around the world.

At Reybanpac, we will continue to recognize those who make excellence a daily practice and to strengthen a culture obsessed with serving our customers, ensuring that every piece of fruit we export reflects the talent, care, and dedication of our people.
