Green Fund: Every Bottle Counts, Every Action Transforms

We believe that meaningful transformations begin with small actions that generate a significant impact. With this vision in mind, the “Green Fund” initiative was created to raise awareness among our employees of responsible waste management practices that help protect the environment.

As part of our “We Are Sustainable” campaign, this program includes the installation of collection containers—donated by strategic partners—at our farms. Employees deposit plastic bottles in these containers, which are then delivered to partner waste management companies for recycling.

The proceeds from the sale of this material will be reinvested in initiatives or benefits selected by the employees at each farm. In this way, every bottle collected will have a twofold impact: contributing to the responsible recovery of plastic waste while also generating well-being for our people.

Green Fund aims to engage all employees across our farms —approximately 4,700 people— and become an ongoing initiative. More than a campaign, it is a lasting invitation to adopt responsible habits and recognize the value that our everyday decisions can create.

This initiative complements the actions implemented earlier this year at our offices in Guayaquil and Quevedo, Ecuador, where collection containers were installed for the separation of plastic waste and batteries. In doing so, we are extending our commitment across the different areas of our organization and strengthening a culture in which everyone can actively contribute to protecting the environment.

In observance of World Cleanup Day, through our “We Are Sustainable” campaign, we reaffirm that every action contributes to building a cleaner and more responsible environment. With the participation of our employees and partners, we promote a culture of shared responsibility and contribute, through our operations, to a more sustainable supply chain—one that is committed to the well-being of people and the planet.
