At Reybanpac, we have a responsibility to the communities around us and to the sustainability of our sector. This commitment is reflected in the job and training opportunities we offer as a company, in line with SDG 8 of the Global Compact: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
Promoting youth employment is vital not only to generate opportunities for professional and economic development, but also to ensure the generational renewal that will strengthen the future of the sector. Agribusiness, as a major driver of the national economy, represents a field of innovation, growth, and purpose, with enormous potential for young people to advance their careers and actively contribute their creativity and talent to the country's development.
Over the last five years, Reybanpac has seen sustained growth in the number of young employees (aged 18 to 29), rising from 21.74% in 2020 to 34% in 2025, representing an increase of 42%.
Our efforts are not only focused on providing employment opportunities, but also on their professional development: through the Reybanpac Center of Excellence, we train our employees in administrative and agricultural areas with training and skills development programs to promote their growth and continuous improvement in our processes.
In addition, together with the Wong Foundation, we have implemented dual training programs to strengthen the acquisition of skills and knowledge linked to real situations in the productive environment. The vision behind this is to provide young people with the necessary tools for rapid job placement, either within our company or by creating their own businesses.
An example of this is the Banana Technical Assistant program aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and 29. This 450-hour program combines theoretical training with practical learning on our farms. Last April, the first class graduated with a 99% employability rate of its students.
At Reybanpac, we are convinced that technical education and the promotion of youth employment are fundamental to the development and sustainability of agribusiness. That is why we invest in programs aimed at creating opportunities for new generations and are committed to the continuous growth of our talent.
As a company, we remain committed to the future of our sector and the growth of communities and our country through the creation of decent work and development opportunities for people.
