Quevedo, Ecuador. - On October 24, on the month of the International Day of the Girl Child, a group of young girls from NGO Plan International program "Por Ser Niñas" and from the Wong Foundation visited Reybanpac's offices in Quevedo and experienced for a day what it means to be a Reybanpac executive.
The teenagers learned about valuable experiences from leaders of different departments of the company. At the same time, they had the opportunity to share their vision, life projects and professional dreams with our team.
The students also were able to ask our leaders questions about the challenges they face daily and how to overcome them. At the end of the day, the girls were able to successfully solve a group case, in which they put into practice what they had learned, as well as their management and conflict resolution skills.
"It was an enriching experience to be able to share with them, to know their aspirations and experiences allowed us to exemplify the “taking over”, where each of them played a role and performed in an extraordinary way, showing the leadership they have developed during their training process," said Fanny Mendoza, Reybanpac's Human Resources Manager.
The “take over” is carried out with the purpose of promoting gender equality and female empowerment by offering adolescent girls a motivating experience that gives them the opportunity to explore their potential and envision their professional future. At the same time, it was extremely enriching for the Reybanpac team to have had the privilege of receiving these outstanding girls and learning from them.
