Reybanpac Opens New Medical Clinic to Enhance Employee Well-Being

2026-07-22

Reybanpac opened a new medical clinic at its facilities, thereby reaffirming its commitment to the comprehensive care of its agricultural employees by providing timely access to top-tier primary care services, eliminating the need to travel to other health centers for basic consultations and routine checkups.

With this addition, Reybanpac now has seven medical clinics available to its agricultural workforce, with the goal of promoting safer, healthier work environments that foster greater well-being.

Leonardo Viteri, Reybanpac’s Vice President of Corporate Affairs, highlighted the importance of continuing to bring medical services closer to the company’s farms, located in rural areas where access to healthcare is limited. “This seventh clinic is a concrete example of our commitment to the well-being of our agricultural employees. We know that taking care of their health also means ensuring the continuity, productivity, and sustainability of the entire organization,” he said.

Viteri added that this new facility is part of a long-term, people-centered vision. “At Reybanpac, we believe that occupational health should not be viewed as an isolated benefit, but rather as an essential part of a culture of care. That is why we continue to strengthen a network of accessible, preventive, and compassionate care for our people,” he stated.

The new clinic is affiliated with the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute, which will allow its patients to access benefits such as immediate on-site care; referrals for laboratory tests, simple X-rays, electrocardiograms, and routine ultrasounds to be performed at the Quevedo General Hospital (with appointments scheduled based on availability); as well as the issuance of medical certificates in accordance with current regulations. Treatments for chronic metabolic diseases requiring ongoing medication will also be available (subject to the availability of the medication at the Social Security Institute.

With this opening, Reybanpac strengthens its commitment to occupational health and expands its capacity to respond to the needs of its agricultural employees, consolidating a management approach that prioritizes the well-being of the people who make the company’s growth possible.
